Chrissy Barth is a well-regarded expert in the field of nutrition,
fitness, and wellness.
She is a registered dietitian (RD) through
the American Dietetic Association, a certified fitness trainer
(CFT) through the International
Sports Sciences Association, a specialist in nutritional counseling,
a yoga teacher (RYT), an author, and media speaker/spokesperson.
Chrissy’s expertise includes:

Chrissy is the founder and president of Live Breathe Nutrition and serves
as a nutrition consultant to several sports teams and training
facilities, various medical practices, health clubs and spas and
is the Vice
President
of HA! Healthy Awareness, LLC, a company who’s mission is to improve
corporate wellness.
Chrissy is currently a dietitian at the Mayo Clinic and was a nutrition coach for Arizona Family’s Channel 3 Corporate
Weight Loss Challenge. Most recently, Chrissy has been awarded
inclusion of
the 2006-2007 Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals in Dietetics “Honors Edition” of the Registry- the single highest
mark of achievement and has received recognition as Arizona’s Young Dietitian of the year for 2007.
Chrissy received her undergraduate degree in human nutrition
with a concentration in dietetics from Arizona State University and
then went on to complete her dietetic internship through the Paradise
Valley USD in Arizona.
As a dietitian, she is an active member of the
American Dietetic Association and its practice groups of sports
and weight management nutritionists and nutrition entrepreneurs, the
Arizona
Dietetic Association Central where she serves on the board,
USANA Health Sciences, the Academy of Eating Disorders, the National
Strength and
Conditioning Association, and the International Sports Sciences
Association.
An athlete and sports enthusiast, Chrissy enjoys spending
time outdoors, as well as running, hiking, cycling, weight training,
yoga, playing golf and tennis, and supporting many local athletic teams
and events in and around the Valley.
